Jesuit Social Services

Jesuit Social Services work in some of the most difficult and demanding areas of human service, including crime, addiction, mental illness, suicide bereavement, long-term unemployment and entrenched social disadvantage.

Jesuit Social Services provide practical programs and advocacy across four main areas. The first being Justice and Crime Prevention – for people involved with the criminal justice system. The second is Mental Health and Wellbeing – for people with multiple and complex needs and those affected by trauma, suicide, and complex bereavement. The third is Settlement and Community Building – for recently arrived immigrants, refugees, displaced people and disadvantaged communities. The final area is Education, Training and Employment – for people with barriers to sustainable employment.
